Hearing my daughter’s genuine laughter when we are playing together. It is the true happiness that you can hear in her laughter that makes every part of life worth it. Just being able to be a mom in general is rewarding because it is the greatest gift life can give. All I care about is if my daughter has everything she needs, she is fed, she is happy and most importantly she is loved. Thats the only reward I will ever need is the pure love my daughter gives me.

My daughter and I were laying in bed watching a movie. All of a sudden I see her drifting off to sleep and go to turn the movie off and she instantly wakes up. When she wakes up she turns cupping her hands on my face and says “mommy god loves you, I’m so proud of you”. Now my daughter is only 2 and has been to church only a couple of times, so when she said this to me I instantly started to cry. It was the most precious moment I will remember for the rest of my life.

I would put some aside for my daughter and than buy a house even just a double wide or something. I have been through a lot in my life with domestic abuse and i had to move back in with my parents. Since doing that my daughter doesn’t necessarily have her own space and I know she misses the space we did have when we had our apartment. So a place for me and my daughter is all I want and I want to be able to call a place “my home”. Also my daughter calling it “home” and it actually being our home.
