The most rewarding part of being my mom is realizing that my children aren’t experiencing the same childhood trauma that I experienced. I get so much joy when my children aren’t experiencing able to come to me with all of their emotions and raw feelings, and they’re so appreciative of how I respond to them and respect what they have to say.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Our family spent an entire week in a hotel in 2021. On the first day, I was crying while talking to my husband about how we were going to get by. My oldest sensed that I was sad and grabbed her sisters hand, walked to where me and my husband were sitting then she started praying. We’ve always been the ones to pray for our children, but in that moment my daughter reminded me that we needed to keep faith.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were to receive $20,000, I would put it towards bills that are overdue and get my children the necessities that they need. Whatever is left, will save to eventually put down on a house.
