The most rewarding part of being a mom is you have this little human that looks up to you and loves you unconditionally. You get to be the influence that your child grows up around and you get to watch them grow to be the beautiful humans that they are. And the best thing of all is you are the one that gets to break generational curses and give your children a healthy environment with communication and love. Making memories and seeing the happiness and light through your children’s eyes.

I will never forget the positive pregnancy test two months after a miscarriage, and the way that it felt after 72 hours of labor to finally birth your little miracle. Hearing my first born cry, after being born was a breath of relief. I will never forget the birth of my rainbow baby.

If I were to win the $20,000 I would add it to the funds that I have put aside for my baby boy and I would invest it in a high-yield interest savings account for it to accrue interest so that way when he’s grown and I feel like he is ready he will have a good start to his future. I grew up in poverty without any hope for a head start to my future but i beat the odds with hard work and resilience and would love to set my son up with a good start to his future.
