I would say that it's the little moments. The moments where you feel like you're failing, but then the unexpected “I love you” reminds you that you’re doing something right. Watching this tiny baby grow into a brave, kind and strong person feels so rewarding in itself. It feels like home anywhere we are because we're together.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory that will forever live in my heart is the look on my kids’ faces the very first time we stepped into Disneyland. It was our first trip there, and honestly, it felt like stepping into another world. But for us, it wasn’t just about the place. It was about what we’d been through to get there. We were in the process of moving to a brand-new state, far away from everything and everyone we called home. My kids are so brave and considerate, I simply wanted to reward them for that bravery.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were blessed with $20,000, I’d use it to build a stronger, more secure future for my family. The first thing I’d do is finally start the small business I’ve been dreaming about. As a single mom who’s been through loss and major life changes, I know how powerful it is to create something of your own. This business would not only support us financially, but it would also give me the freedom to be more present with my children. I desire to show them that anything is possible with faith.
