This is the hardest most passionate job I’ve ever done. I’ve been raising my son alone since the day I found out I was pregnant.
We would like to thank you for supporting Briana Flores in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part is even on the hard days (which is most days) seeing my son smile. I have so much mom guilt, I always feel I’m not doing enough , but the second I see my son smile at me- it reminds me I am enough. It’s truly the best most rewarding feeling is seeing my son happy.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My son will be two this year. It’s so hard to say what my favorite is. He does so many things that bring so much joy to me. If I have to choose one in particular, it would have been the time where he pooped his pants. I saw his face as if he was pooping and I asked if he pooped and he looked down and crawled away to his spaceship tent with his back turned away from me as if he was embarrassed. When he crawled away I saw the outline in his diaper. It was truly the most cutest and funniest thing.
What would you do with $20,000?I don’t receive child support or anything. This money would allow me to start a savings for my son. I had a goal to save a certain amount for him each month since birth… I wasn’t able to do that. I want him to be okay and knowing this money would be set aside for him would put me at ease for his future.
