Juggling work, parenthood, and helping the community through mental health aid, I stay active with my daughter who makes me a Super Mom.
We would like to thank you for supporting Brenique Bannister in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is loving every stage my child grows through. Watching her develop her own personality and brilliance has been life-changing. She’s helped me grow by improving my patience and strength. I’m always working on my emotional, spiritual, mental, and financial well-being to be better for her. She’s my gift. My daughter teaches me new perspectives, and seeing my parents as grandparents shows me a deeper love in them also.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My 4-year-old was introduced to Santa this past Christmas. At school, she learned about the naughty and nice list and was determined to stay off the naughty list. Even though I reassured her that she wouldn't be on the list, she wanted proof. So a friend introduced her to Santa's hotline number. It is now April and since December she still periodically leaves Santa messages to advise him not to put her on the naughty list. But she will tell Santa who she thinks SHOULD be on the naughty list.
What would you do with $20,000?I would tithe 10% of the reward to my church, whose mission and passion is to serve the community. I’ve been actively working to fund my real estate venture in short-term rentals. This would be a dream come true. This vision is important to me, as it will allow me to work passively and spend more time with my daughter. I plan to pass down this business to her. The rest will fund opportunities for mission trips to different countries through my church. Each vote and donation is appreciated!
