I've been taking care of my mom,my daughter, myself, 4dogs, and now my daughters friend. It's tough & I'm applying for my 1st home.
We would like to thank you for supporting Brenda Mendoza in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
How can I choose? I'd say the most rewarding part is knowing that I'm raising an amazing young lady. I've shown her how to be able to allow her to express herself in a positive manner, showing her how to treat others (the way we would like to be treaded), helping her build her credit and become financially responsible at a young age, how to be the change she wants to see, never give up on her dreams, & setting goals. She's a confident Afro-Latina like Zoe Saldana & Miriam Jiménez Román.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? Her first steps, how she smelled as a newborn baby, how she smiles every time she sees me, her during ballet practice, her during gymnastics practice, her at evey Krava Maga training session, how hard she trained at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, how happy she is when she shows me good grades, how she asked for a Pink Bible for Christmas. How accomplishing something (a goal, good grades, ect.) makes her (&I) so happy. The love she has for others & how selfless she is. It's truly a blessing to raise her.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use it to invest our first house and fixing my Mom's car or just buying her a new one. She has sacrificed so much for us when I was younger. I always love taking care of her, my daughter, and our four dogs. She had cancer, she had surgery to remove part of her breast, I took her to her treatments, she was taking a lot of different medicines, and she has moved im with me ever since.
