Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

EVERYTHING! ☺️ But, if I had to pick only a few, it is the moments when your kids tell you how lucky they feel like they are to have you as a parent. Seeing them go out of their way to help someone with no questions. Pushing them past their limits & seeing their reaction when they realize that was never actually their limit.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I hope to never forget & am so grateful to have had, is from early 2021 when I was getting (red devil) chemo . My kids were distant learning & I was working from home. We were all done for the day & my kids asked me to go out back with them and play volleyball. I had no energy, completely drained… But, I did it anyway & after, we sat outside by our fire pit & roasted marshmallows & ate s’mores. I just took that moment in, not knowing if I would get to have more in the future.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would invest a portion of it, take myself & the kiddos on a mini shopping spree, pay bills, & put the rest in my savings for a rainy day.
