The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my child grow into their own unique person and knowing that I’ve played a major role in shaping who they are becoming. There is no greater feeling than seeing the values, love, and lessons I’ve worked so hard to instill reflected in their actions, choices, and personality. Whether it’s a kind word they offer someone in need, a moment of resilience during a challenge, or the joy in their eyes when they accomplish something.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory of my kids that I will never forget is the day I sent my youngest daughter off to the military. That moment is forever etched in my heart—a mixture of pride, fear, love, and deep emotion that words can barely capture. Watching her stand there, dressed in her uniform, ready to take on the world with such strength and determination, was one of the proudest yet most emotional days of my life. As a parent, you spend years nurturing, guiding, and protecting your children.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were awarded the $20,000 prize money, I would use it to create lasting impact for both my family and others in need. First and foremost, I would set aside a portion of the money to support my daughter who is currently serving in the military. Being away from home and adjusting to that lifestyle comes with emotional and financial challenges, and I want to ensure she knows she’s supported every step of the way. I would also take all of my grandkids on a vacation.
