I juggle it all! I'm a single mom with an autistic 8 year old son and a 6 year old daughter no car and making it happen by the grace of God.
We would like to thank you for supporting Awnterra Taylor in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Seeing my children happy and growing older just warms my heart. Being a mother of a child with autism isn't easy but I work so much with my children to make sure they always thrive. When he was first diagnosed I had to stop working and everything to get him 100 percent ready for school because no one would accept my child at daycare or when I first tried to get him into regular school they kicked him out so it has been really hard but we worked hard and now he's amazing, smart and excelling.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The day they came into the world of course. I had two very difficult pregnancies, my first I almost lost my life after giving birth to my son via c-section. My second pregnancy was another c section and my blood pressure went up very high during labor to the point me and baby were at risk. I had preeclampsia with both pregnancies so it was alot of hospital visits and check ups but it was so worth it when they came into the world and I got to smell and hold them.
What would you do with $20,000?I just got out of a very bad domestic relationship so with the money I would move me and my children into our new home and just start over with my children. We currently stay with a friend.
