What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The bond that my daughter and I share, the laughter, our closeness. The unconditional love that she has shown me throughout my entire journey. She has believed in me she has never given up on me. She is there to remind me of how far we have come together.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

We called them jam out Sundays. I play oldies dating back to the 50s and 60s to old school R&B early 90s and 2000s. We are all in the kitchen. I am cooking we dance and we laugh. I pass down these recipes from my dad and from my grandmother. This has followed my daughter into her early 20s. She is constantly calling me asking me how to make this or that. We will stay on FaceTime for hours while she prepares her meals and I guide her.

What would you do with $20,000?

My daughter is in Florida for college. I would use that money to move and branch out. Ether starting a new chapter of our cleaning company. Or my ultimate dream of owning a little breakfast/lunch/plant shop out there with her!
