We would like to thank you for supporting Audrey Gilliam in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

My children are the most rewarding part of life for me. My life hasn’t been easy. I faced obstacles in life since a child that should have broken me, but my kids are my reason. I have four beautiful children plus now a grandson that makes my life worth living. To see them do great things in life has shown me that everything I went through was worth it. I survived for them and I created a life for them that allowed them to go chase whatever dreams they have in life!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I have so many memories with my children. They are all different and so special to me. I would say one memory would be the start of me becoming at mom. I was a teen mom. I had my first child at sixteen. She changed my world. I felt like I had a purpose again. No matter the challenges I was facing I had my reason now. My mini me. I had to protect her and love her. My baby girl restarted my life for me and she was my reason why. That is one memory that I will forever cherish.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would take this 20,000 to help publish my book. I am writing a book about my life. Things that transpired, things I’ve overcome, my children, me, and so much more. Everything that makes me a “super mom.” A super mom isn’t someone who has it all together. It’s someone who wakes up everyday and puts one foot in front of the other. I have a story to tell and I know so many other moms and women can relate, so that’s what I would do with the 20,000.
