Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I think the whole aspect of being a mom is rewarding. You start by creating this life from inside you, grow with you for 9 months, and then watch them grow for the rest of both of your lives. The days I feel the most rewarded on, are the hardest ones. I look at her and remember she’s my reason. Not only am I helping this little one grow and navigate life. But she’s doing the same thing for me. Teaching me patience, to laugh at the little things, grace, and unconditional love.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There are so many already right now and she’s only 5. A memory that I am never going to forget is our random dance/singing parties that break out at any point. Sometimes during cooking. Other times while cleaning, playing outside, in the truck. She has so much personality that she puts her heart & soul into every performance that breaks out. She brings so much joy into everything we do!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use some of it towards fixing up our home and homestead. I have 12 years of working in education so I’ve always wanted to start a nature/farm school from my house, so I’m able to homeschool my daughter and a few others. I would use some to get learning materials as well. My daughter is going into Kindergarten this year, so it would be a dream come true to start my school. I always want to make sure my daughter will be set up for the future, the rest would go to a saving accounts for her
