What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the unconditional love and deep bond shared. Watching Jaylin grow into his own person, pursuing his passions, and having deep conversations about life, music, spirituality, and his future brought me so much joy. Being there for him, supporting his dreams, and knowing that our love and connection remain unbreakable, even beyond this life, is something I cherish. Motherhood is a journey of love, learning, and unforgettable moments.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

"It’s hard to choose just 1 memory because every moment w/ Jaylin was special. But what I cherish the most are our conversations... whether it was in his home studio while he made music, during car rides to and from work, over dinner, or even through video chats and texts. We talked about everything..his day, music, food, Chakras, school, buying a car, applying for an apartment, & even deep spiritual topics like opening your 3rd eye. Those conversations were our time to connect,& I will always cherish

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I would build a permanent Say Their Names monument/mural in both Atlanta and Memphis to honor lives taken too soon due to systemic injustice. These spaces would serve as a place of remembrance, awareness, and community healing. I would also host a Say Their Names Impacted Moms Retreat, providing a space for mothers who have lost their children to find support, healing, and empowerment as we continue the fight for justice together.
