Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding thing about being a mom is the deep, unconditional love and connection you experience with your children. From the moment they are born, you become their protector, guide, and safe haven, and in return, they give you a kind of love that is pure and unlike any other. This bond evolves over time, growing stronger as they learn to trust and depend on you, and it fills your heart in ways words can’t fully express in 500 characters.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

He is still very young, only 6.5 months old. But, so far the memory that I will never forget is when he started to roll. That for me was a tear jerker. He is my first and going to be my only child, so I will never get to experience that again… I can’t even explain the joy, yet the sadness of my baby boy in that first milestone. It was a huge one for me and I think I cheered him on for about 2 hours to do it again lol.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put $5,000 into Luca’s savings fund for when he turns 18 and goes to college. The other $15,000 would be for our property to try to better our lives. I was gifted property from my Mum and I haven’t been able to do anything with it since I’m a single parent. I’d love to clear the land and at least get a well in so we can finally have a place to call home and build a house. We have been living in a studio apartment, with no real heat (or kitchen). I have a hot plate and a convection oven.
