Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

As a mom, you’re expected to teach your children, which I do, but I’m also a student. My son has taught me so much about patience, grace, humility and love! I’m often reminded that God’s love lives through the children and he’s truly a gift from God!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

On 1/3/23, my son was admitted to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, and from that moment, I knew our lives would be forever changed. At just 10 months old, his social and physical development were behind other children his age. But as his mother, I was resolute that this wouldn’t define his future. Fast forward to 3/12/25, when he turned 3– he’s now the youngest swimmer in his class, plays sports, and even plays the guitar. We thank God every day that he doesn’t reflect the struggles he’s faced!

What would you do with $20,000?

If I were to win $20,000, I would contribute a portion to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, which provides life-saving treatments to children and their families.
