What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing resilience in my kids—watching them grow into kind, capable, and independent little humans, knowing you were their rock. Being their safe place—no matter what life throws, they run to me. That bond is unshakable. Proving to them that I can do it—on the hardest days, when I still manage to show up with love, strength, and grace, that pride hits different. The chaos and the laughter—there’s never a dull moment with three. It’s exhausting but somehow magical.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One moment I’ll never forget was the first day of school for my twins. As we stood at the door, both of them gripping my hands tightly, I could feel their nervous energy. One of them looked up at me with wide, determined eyes and said, “I’ll be alright, and I’ll see you soon, Mama.” It was such a simple sentence, but the courage behind it moved me to tears. In that moment, I saw their strength, even in the face of something new and scary—and I knew they were going to be okay.

With $20,000, I’d invest in autism support like therapies or tools, donate to a meaningful cause, use some to pay down debt including school tuition for peace of mind, and spend some on a well-earned, inclusive family vacation to create lasting memories. A balanced mix of impact, relief, and joy.
