This super mom beat stage 2 HER2+ breast cancer a**. Working full time, in school getting my PhD, coaching, taking care of 2 kids/our home.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ashar Harris in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom to me is at the end of the night after the kids are settled and in bed, just knowing that god has blessed me to continue on with life and providing for them is the best and most rewarding feeling.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory that I will never forget is the day I had to tell mt kids that I had breast cancer. It was the most hurtful day and time cause I managed to save enough money for us to take one trip and a cruise and they was so excited but everything changed and they wasn’t upset at the fact we wasn’t vacationing they was hurt and asked me was I going to live and that moment my soul was crushed and I was determined to fight and win my battle against breast cancer.
What would you do with $20,000?My oldest will be graduating high school next year and being able to get her car so she’ll be able to come home from college would be one of the best gifts I could give one of my children. My youngest still have five years of school and his sister having a car would keep him from having to ride with moms all the time.
