I became pregnant at 17 while Honeless. I endured Narcisstic abuse from my baby daddy for 7 years in poverty. I am now free from him at 24.
We would like to thank you for supporting Ariella in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The little moments. Like when she Brings home a new piece of art from school and is so excited to show ME. When she tells me I'm the best mom ever after giving her her favorite treat. I also am so proud she's not afraid to tell me exactly how she feels, even about me! Even parents can be wrong sometimes, and its rewarding when my own kid can hold me accountable for mistakes too. Nobody is perfect, and my kid gets to watch me grow as she grows too! Practicing forgiveness with each other too.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The first time my daughter flew with me on an airplane is a memory I will never forget. As the plane was speeding down the runway she was giggling and so excited. When the plan lifted into the air her eyes got so big as she looked out the window. She was so amazed at what was happening!! Such a joy to see her experience that feeling for the first time. And she was so excited to share that moment with me her mother, truly heartwarming. “ Mommy look how high we are!!” pure joy and wonder.
What would you do with $20,000?I would get braces for myself because I have a snaggle tooth and it makes me insecure to smile. My parents never took me to the dentist as a child so I would get the dental work I need. Then I would open a kids saving account for my daughter and give her $5,000 towards her future needs and wants. She is the reason I am a mother after all. She may request a fancy toy or two of course as well. Next I would tithe to God in some form. Then I would save the rest and plan for my future as a mother.
