What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mom is seeing the love and nurture that I pour into my son reflected through him to others.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget my son's 2nd surgery at 6 months old which was a critical 8 hour procedure. Afterwards, I could not hold him for 6 weeks as he had to lay in traction. Despite not being able to be held, he remained so joyful and smiled a lot. It taught me that joy is possible in any circumstance. He remained content with me holding his hand, singing, and reading. He developed an infection that nearly took his life. His joy was a reminder for me trust God and the process.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay off the medical debt accrued for my son's care and secure permanent housing for me and my son as we have currently been staying with my mother. The housing stability will help me establish my independent mental health therapy business and create more financial security.
