Raising 16 month old twins, full time nurse at an oncology office while trying to give each child (and husband) my love and attention.
We would like to thank you for supporting April Billbrough in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
EVERYTHING!! Seriously. Seeing their little faces when they wake up and hearing them say “hi.” Seeing my kids faces light up when I pick them up from daycare, when they come running up to me screaming “mama.” Watching them learn new things everyday and how their personalities are so similar but so so different. When they reach up and want to hold my hand (which really is only one finger). I get to be their WHOLE world for a such a short part of their life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The day they were born…cliche but how can someone forget that! I’ve always dreamed of being a twin mom. It was a planned c section. My daughter was born first and I remember hearing her first cry and how my body just overfilled with so much love (even though I hadn’t seen her yet) I was a sobbing mess, and then my son was born and more immense love overfilled my body. Cuddling/doing skin to skin with both at the same time is something I will cherish forever.
What would you do with $20,000?Start a savings account for my children and pay off some debt so we can afford to buy a bigger house.
