Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Honestly waking up to smiles. Learning to slow down and be present in the moment. Understanding life from my toddlers perspective. Truly valuing this unconditional love. Realizing how much little girl lives inside of me as I raise my own. Believing the good in myself as my daughter looks to me as a super mom that can fix any and everything. Blessed to be her human band-aid. Unbeknownst to my little, she’s equally my human bandaid. Her giggles & hugs feels like warm blankets fresh out the Dryer.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Hiking up Stone Mountain when my daughter was 5months old. She rested in my bosom the entire time. Sleeping half the way and I was breastfeeding the other half. Even though I was the one sweating and trekking, I didn’t feel alone. She provided me strength. She was a constant reminder to me that “I can do it” & I can be a super mom while doing it. When we got to the top of the mountain, her smile screamed “ you did it mommy” I can’t wait to show her our matching workout attire from that day.

What would you do with $20,000?

Responsibly pay off debt, and to commemorate being a super mom, I’ll pay it forward and apply it to my daughters 529 college plan.
