What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Knowing that I play such an important role in shaping and guiding both my children’s lives is absolutely amazing. Creating humans that will one day impact the world and knowing that I had something to do with how they learned, the values I instilled in them to make this world better and in turn they instill those same values in their children is so impactful and inspiring and makes me want to be better every day.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Christmas 2024 was so special to me. It was our first time in our apartment just the 3 of us. And although we’re a small family it was so special for them and for me. We made a gingerbread house, we left out cookies for Santa (Santa ate the cookies), we wore matching pajamas and we had a sleepover in the living room. Christmas day I made a big breakfast and since I didn’t have a job, family pitched in to make sure they had enough gifts. With little money to work with it was the best Christmas.

What would you do with $20,000?

Take care of my kids and all their needs. I would pay up my kids school. I pay $1,6700/month for child care. My kids only have 1 pair of shoes each so I would buy them some shoes and clothes to make sure they have what they need for school. I will be putting 2 kids through college by myself so I would definitely put some money away for them in an account for them as a start to their College fund. And whatever is left I would save and pay off some debts.
