Anna Penny

I may not believe I’m a super mom to my boys but my husband does and the way my kids look at me, it’s easier to believe that it’s the truth.

We would like to thank you for supporting Anna Penny in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Even through all the struggles of life and being a mom, at the end of each day I get to watch my boys sleep peacefully, safe, warm and content. Even if my mommy meter is in red all day seeing their peaceful sleeping faces washes all the stress from that day away. I’m blessed to be able to provide a home that is a safe place for my children to be themselves. Having happy kids is the most rewarding part of being a mom for me.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

It may be cliché, but the moment they were born and put into my arm's. It’s such a surreal moment meeting your baby for the first time. You are handed this tiny baby, that you would give your life for in an instant. It’s a moment that filled with completely untainted pure love that washes away all the pain you just went through.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, I would pay off the few little debts that I have and save the rest/majority. May get a good inexpensive car as both of ours are on their last leg. It gets exhausting living pay check to pay check and not having the money in case of emergencies.
