Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my kids’ happy faces every day because I am doing the absolute best that I can for them is the most rewarding part of being a mom. Sometimes the kids argue and fight but in the end we all love each other and if we have to live in a box to survive , we will as long as we are together.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget the day that we got evicted , moved into a motel and I apologized to the kids for creating homelessness and they told me “As long as we have a roof over our heads we are not homeless “

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would help us get stable, more permanent housing and more liable transportation. We are trying so hard but in this economy, it feels like we are drowning instead of swimming. It’s so hard. Even with multiple jobs and multiple incomes it is still hard to stay afloat. So $20,000 would help us tremendously with bills , both overdue and future.
