What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The Most rewarding part of being a mom is is seeing all that is good in me and their father, in the both of them. In addition, having the opportunity to nurture them in a way that I was not nurtured as a child and watching them grow into respectable young men from the nurturing that I give. I have performed as a spoken word artist in many places, won many awards, opened for many famous people, but my boys are my biggest success in this life and I am so proud of myself and of them.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Despite the pressure from mainstream society, I have never given them a cell phone. On their 15th bday, I gave them both a cell phone. They thought I would never do it. They both were surprised and in shock! I will never forget that memory.

What would you do with $20,000?

Good question 🤔 I am a psychology major at the University of Houston-Downtown. As of this semester, I am 27 hours away from getting my degree. However, I am running out of school funds. Nonetheless, I believe the Universe is abundant. I would use the money to pay for the rest of my classes. I really want my boys to see me get my degree so they will go and get theirs. I went back to school after they were born. They have to see me do it so they can believe it can be done.
