The healing that occurs within yourself while mothering your children. There was so much I didn't know about myself until I became a mother. Healing yourself so that you can raise your children in a loving and supportive environment. Learning to love, nurture, and accept yourself so that you can truly love, nurture, and accept your children exactly as God made them. It is also amazing to have permanent buddies to go on adventures with and to explore life with!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? They were 2 and 9 and I finally graduated college. They helped me decorate my cap. I earned a degree in forestry, so we glued a bunch of trees to my cap. Watching their little faces light up as I was walking down the aisle made every bit of hardship worth it. I commuted two hours to college everyday, and worked night shifts at a local hotel. 3am mornings, tackling homework before the boys woke up. Getting them off to school before Mom went to school. Seeing them proud of me. That's everything.
What would you do with $20,000?I would purchase a new vehicle. I am a single working mother of two. Times have always been rough financially. I have only ever been able to afford older beater cars that constantly have issues. I have recently launched a side business, aside from my full time job, and a new reliable vehicle for our little family would mean everything. Safety, security, and reliability go a long way. If there was money left over, I would invest in my newly launched business.
