It’s always rewarding when the kids like to give me a hug and kiss and tell me I’m the best Mom in the whole world, or that I am their best friend. It’s not much but it means the world to me. Also when teachers or others tell me how polite and well mannered they are. Makes me feel like I’m at least doing something right as a mother.

There was this one time with my oldest when he was one year old, and I was getting ready to go deliver a cake order. My son was in his room playing. Well I went back there when I heard him cry. He had closed the door and couldn’t get it open. Once I opened the door I realized exactly why he couldn’t get it open. He had got a huge tub of vaseline and was covered head to toe in it. The walls, door, door knob, carpet, and toys were all completely covered. It had looked like Vaseline had exploded!

I know I would put half of it back between the 4 kids for college. We live on one income so my husband works extremely hard to give us the best life possible. With the other half it would be nice to use to help expand my cake business from home so I can help contribute financially towards my family. What’s left I would use to go towards my son’s school and help them replace the gym floor or buy some equipment his school needs. I’m part of the PTA so a lot of us moms help out as much as possible.
