My mother moved in with me in 2015 and I cared for her until she passed away in July of 2021 all while becoming a first time mom in 2016.

The most rewarding part about being a mom is watching my daughter grow into such a kind little lady and watching her excitement and happiness about life. She is truly beautiful inside and out and brings me so much joy on my most difficult days. Her being only 8 years old she has taught me patience, to slow down & enjoy the little moments, and a type of love I’m so grateful to experience.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?The memory I’ll never forget and always hold close to my heart is all the moments I got to watch my mom be a grandma to my daughter. She was only here for 5 years of her life but my favorite memory is my daughter asking for two of anything because memaw needed one too and a picture I have of them two, doing a cheers with ice cream cones.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay on my nursing student loans and take a vacation with my husband and daughter! I’ve always wanted to travel out of the country and experience a new culture with my family and it would be life changing to finally pay off my nursing student loans.
