I have recently became a single working mom and it has been challenging. I strive every day to care for my baby and be a good role model.
We would like to thank you for supporting Anahi Villanueva in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part is watching my daughter become her own person, while also growing with her as well. She has taught me so much about myself and I wouldn’t have done this soul searching if it wasn’t for her. She is the product of breaking generation cycles and I’m so grateful to be her mother.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I will never forget when I was going through exterior life challenges, my daughter was there to support me. She’s only 3 years old, and one day I started crying because the weight of the world was getting to be too much. She’s just said mommy and gave me a hug. She looked at me again and started crying with me, but then she told me she loved me and it made me feel so much better. She is so little but yet she knows just how to comfort someone. I will never forget how she showed up for me.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off a little bit of my debt, I would save some for a down payment for a little house for me and my daughter, and I would also set aside money for her for when she gets older, she can use it for college or for a car. Whatever she would want to do with it. Winning $20k would really help set us up financially and I am very grateful for this opportunity.
