I have been my son's only parent since pregnancy. For 5 years, I have had to wear every single hat, all the time, with no breaks.
We would like to thank you for supporting Amber Nolan in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
It's honestly hard to pick one thing, but I would say: finally experiencing what true, unconditional, pure love feels like. My son is my mirror, & he has shown me all the parts of myself I need to work on. Having a child is truly experiencing God & Gods love, & my son has made me a better human in so many ways. The little laughs & silliness together are also everything! I love embracing my inner child with my child. Holidays are especially special!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? There is a lot I won't forget. I will never forget giving birth to my son & the first time I held him in my arms, after going through so much heartache & pain during my pregnancy. I will never forget how he says "I love you TOO, Mumma" first, because he thinks that's how you say "I love you." I will never forget his amazing Biggie Smalls themed 1st birthday party that turned out perfect, & how cute he looked wearing his gold crown in his homemade gold thrown (high chair).
What would you do with $20,000?I would find a better living space for me & my son, & probably give myself a self-care day that I honestly never really get to have, because I can't afford it. I took a job doing physical labor, making less money, with better hours, to spend as much time with my baby, as possible. I would also love to go on a mommy & son mini vacation with him, because we have never been. The rest would be used to pay my bills that I can barely afford. I would be so grateful for 20,000 dollars.
