What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a single mom to six kids means your heart is stretched in six different directions, yet it grows stronger with every hug, every smile, and every “I love you, Mom.” The most rewarding part is knowing that, despite the challenges, you are their rock, their safe place, their everything. It’s watching them support each other, learning resilience and love from the example you set. It’s the little moments—chaotic, loud, beautiful—that remind you just how full your heart truly is.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Each moment, big or small, is a piece of the story you’re writing together. The real answer? Every single day with them is a memory worth keeping. That’s the beauty of being a mom—there are too many unforgettable moments to choose just one.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a low-income family, $20K would be life-changing. A safe, reliable car would mean fewer worries and more opportunities. My kids also need proper beds, clothes, and basic necessities we often go without. If possible, I’d love to give them something beyond survival—a trip to make memories together, even just once. More than anything, I want to give them security, comfort, and hope for a brighter future.
