Amayram Martinez

I don’t think I’m a super mom. I get overstimulated sometimes but there’s nothing in the world I wouldn’t do for my kids.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing all the achievements my kids do. My oldest is 3 and everyday he amazes me, with the way he keeps a conversation, his brilliant ideas and the way he plays and takes care of his younger brother. My 1 year old, just started walking and now he doesn’t stop. He wants to walk everywhere. Just seeing the accomplishments, is a reward for me.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Their birth. They were both very different births. My first born was an emergency cesarean. My placenta ruptured and he was born a few weeks before but as soon as I saw him, I knew it was something I’ll always cherish. My 2nd born, was a normal birth, didn’t have any complications with him but as soon as I held him in my arms the day he was born, I knew my world was complete.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, I am a SAHM… my husband is the only one working and we have been struggling to save money for a house. So I’d put that money for savings to get a house until we find the right one for my little family to live in.
