I’m an imperfect mom, who is always learning and striving to be better. My kids are my life, there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them.
We would like to thank you for supporting Amanda Poupis in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching the tiny humans that you’ve put so much time and energy into raising right, grow up to be the kind of humans you’ve always dreamed and hoped they’d be. Kind, caring, giving, respectful, independent, compassionate … there is nothing I love more than when someone tells me how respectful your child is … that makes my mama heart skip beats.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My daughter was born with a rare condition called Arthrogryposis. It’s a condition that causes my daughter to walk and run a little funny because her feet are turned in and one leg is longer than the other. She wears AFO’s on both feet. I remember one time in particular when someone was starring at my daughter, pointing and laughing, my son walked up to that person and instead of yelling at them, he kindly told them what her condition was called and educated them on it.
What would you do with $20,000?My son is graduating high school this year so the first thing I would do with the $20,000 is take a family trip to Alaska. My son has always wanted to go to Alaska, since he was a young boy, but unfortunately like most people today, we haven’t been able to afford to take him. I would put the rest of the money away to help him pay for his college education.
