Im a supermom because I've lost it all and built it back up with my bare hands, for my kids. They are my reason, my fight & my why.
We would like to thank you for supporting Alysa Jessup in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is the unconditional love. My kids remind me daily - "Thank you mommy. I love you mommy. You're the best mommy." Knowing they're growing strong, loved, and happy despite everything I've been through shows me I'm doing something right. I've been dragged through the mud, but that doesn't reflect in my kids when you see them - and that makes it all worth it.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I will never forget is the day I realized I had to leave. I was in a toxic, abusive relationship. One night, during an explosive argument, I really thought I wouldn't make it out alive. I called my daughter and told her to call 911 and call my mom. She was holding my baby boy, terrified, but trying to protect him. She was just a child herself, but in that moment, she showed strength no child should have to. I made a promise to them I would never let us live like that again.
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 would change everything for us. Im still fighting to stay afloat. I quit my job in the big 4 bank of 10 years to care for my son. Behind on bills, no job, & the sole caretaker of my two kids, including my autistic son, who I now homeschool full-time. I don't have the option to fail. This would give us stability, avoid homelessness, & avoid losing everything I've worked so hard for. If you choose me, you're not just changing my life-you're giving my kids the security they need and deserve
