Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is seeing a smile on my son’s face. No matter what goes on during the day , the fact he goes to bed knowing he is loved is what is most important to me. All of my hard work and sacrifices is so worth it to me seeing him happy and him feeling loved. I really value that , not the materials or what I can buy for him , but that he KNOWS his mom loves him more than anything. Love is what a child needs to thrive. The “Mommy I love you” every night is the best part of motherhood

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

That is so hard to choose, there are so many that I cherish. But, if I had to pick one it would be when we left his 5th birthday party and on the way home he said “Mommy I had so much fun thank you I had the best day”. I cried on the way home. It’s so simple but that fact that my 5 year old acknowledged everything I did to make his day special just melted my heart. I pride myself on raising my son with values , and that spoke for itself.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay off some debt I have and finish paying for my RN. I am currently back in school to get my nursing degree to make a better life for us both. It is just me and him so finances are important. I work full time and will be in school full time so having the cushion to help with bills and expenses would be indescribable. I wouldn’t even know how to say thank you for that type of financial support and it would be a huge burden off of my shoulders.
