Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

At the end of a trying day when we are all sitting together at dinner, everyone goes around and names their favorite part of the day. Their answers always melt my heart, because even in the mundane, they are making core memories.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

When I was newly postpartum, I would struggle in the morning when my husband would leave for work. Everyone would wake up one by one, lay in our bed and I’d make 3 bottles, change 4 diapers & lay across the bottom of the bed, at their feet, while i breastfed the baby. Looking back, those mornings were golden. No rush, no where to be, just all of us together.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would help my family tremendously. We would be able to pay off some medical bills & put into each of our children’s savings accounts & plan a well deserved family vacation once I am in remission.
