I hear "I would die for my kid," but rarely "I will live for my kid." I live for my kid, despite the challenges, he makes this life worth it
We would like to thank you for supporting Alexis Ludlow in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is healing your inner child by caring for your own child. It’s about giving them the life you never had but always wished for and seeing the happiness it brings them. There’s nothing quite like making them laugh the hardest.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My son and I were sitting on the couch listening to music and all of a sudden he laid his head on my lap and fell asleep. Another memory is when he was 13 months I laid him in his crib and he started crying. I picked him up and put him on the ground and he ran to my bedroom and started pulling on my bed so I picked him up and laid down with him and he cuddled me and fell asleep.
What would you do with $20,000?I’m not quite sure, to be honest. I would save most of it and use some of it for my husband’s and my college tuition and textbooks. I’d also like to set aside a little bit for something fun with my family. My son, husband, and I love hiking and exploring the desert, so we might plan a big trip.
