Honestly, even on the hardest days—when I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, and questioning if I’m doing anything right—there’s always a moment that makes it all worth it. It’s in the little things: the way my baby’s face lights up when she sees me, the way she treats others, the countless I love you's through out the day. It’s knowing that no matter how much I struggle, I am her safe place, her comfort, and her whole world.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My daughter has a vision impairment called Optic-nerve Hypoplasia and Nystagmus. When she was an infant we weren't sure if she'd have any vision at all and were told that glasses most likely wouldn't help her. She could never see me waving at her if I wasn't close enough. Around age 7, we saw a specialist, who prescribed her glasses. When she put her new glasses on she was able to see me waving at her from a much bigger distance. I cried. I'm so grateful for the vision she has.
What would you do with $20,000?I would be able to pay off a chunk of my debt with 20,000 and maybe even be able to finally have a bit of savings. This would allow me to work one job and spend more time with my daughter, which I so desperately would like to do. I'm tired of being tired. I want to come home after work and be happy. I want my daughter to see me happy rather than struggling for once.
