What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mother is being able to see the positive changes in my kids that I can help facilitate. I was adopted at 14 years old by my wonderful parents, but the first 14 years of my life I I lived a very abusive life, and had a mother who put herself first. I love, knowing that I am the type of mother to my children that I wish I had growing up.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

For me, it isn’t about a specific situation or a big event, but it’s the combination of all the little moments we get to share as a family. Whether it’s at the ball park and the older three are teaching our young one how to play the game, our summer vacations to when we sit around in the dinner table every night. That’s where we get to destress and have the most entertaining conversations. I’m not able to pick just one memory when all the all the small ones mean more than one extravagant one.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would pay off my vehicle and then turn around and put money towards the kids and their extracurricular activities. With sports and lessons we don’t realize how much is needed for them each year. I would also put money aside for an emergency fund.
