Single mom of 5! Working as a nurse. Overworked and continuing to save lives & also attending all my kids sports practices, games and comps
You decide who will appear in Woman's World magazine, enjoy a weekend getaway in Napa, and take home $20,000
Seeing my kids happy and excel in their sports program. Seeing my oldest attend a university at an HBCU in Delaware with a 50% scholarship. This makes me feel that throughout all the obstacles I have faced being a single mom, I have still done a good job even when it doesn't feel that way!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?During my oldest daughter candlelight ceremony at her sweet 16, she spoke and acknowledged how far I have came as a young and single mother, she noticed my accomplishments and how hard I worked to set an example for her and her 4 younger siblings, she acknowledged that I finally got out of a 10 year long unhealthy relationship and deserved to be happy, and how she was proud of me! I'll never forget that, I'll never forget that she reached the age to understand and see things in such a light
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off a portion of my debt. Pay some of her college tuition, and pay for my high school senior to attend delaware tech community college for a radiologist, to be closer to her sister. I'd get all the kids passports and take them on a mini vacation to a destination they all agree upon to show them a different parts of the country and their culture!
