Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

As a single mom, the thought of not having it all together always lingers; thinking that I may not have enough to provide a safe & secure life for my son. The workload falls on me, the full responsibility of raising my son on my own; while also having to work full time, takes time away from being fully present in my son’s life. However, seeing my son reach many mile stones & seeing his personally devople beautifully. & seeing how happy he is day in & day out.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Giving birth to my son. Although I was alone & his dad wasn’t present, it was still the most beautiful day of my life. To know that this little boy chose me to be his mother, & biggest advocate.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put it down as a down payment towards a condo or town home for me & my son. I currently rent a room with family, but it is my biggest desire & goal in life to have a place of my own for me & my son.
