My 1st is a Nicu grad hospitalized for 3 months. My 2nd was a natural birth and full term. I’m an ER vet, helping pets, and raising my boys.
We would like to thank you for supporting Adrienne Howarth in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I love watching my boys grow and explore the world. Seeing the world through their eyes renews a sense of wonder and appreciation that is often lost in adults. My kids teach me to slow down and enjoy the simplest things like the joy of seeing an inch worm crawl or seeing colors change when combining them. My goal is to raise a new generation of compassionate, caring boys.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My oldest son, who is 3, did not walk until 23 months old. He was holding our hands and cruising for months but seemed afraid to let go. Finally, eye evaluation was suggested as his physical therapist believed he was having a depth perception issue. He was evaluated, had surgery for a muscle issue, and was walking 6 days later. It was so rewarding to experience after working so hard with him. It was also incredible to know the world was so much easier for him to navigate from that point on.
What would you do with $20,000?While our family is not struggling, my husband and I both have significant loans from school. We are working to pay those off, but that means we do not get to contribute as much into our children’s futures as we would like. The money would be split evenly into their accounts to grow and use when they become adults.
