Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

EVERYTHING! My son has truly changed my life. Just today I was driving home from taking him to school and had a grin across my heart and face thinking about how the first born child truly kinda grows up with the adult learning to be a parent. It made me giggle deeply and give gratitude for my son. And every night he decides to snuggle up next to me and ask for back rubs.. it truly doesn’t matter what happened that day, having him near me literally melts away any worry or negative feeling within!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One of my FAVORITE memories of my son.. is when he was 5 (his step dad passed away unexpectedly in April 2020.. so we sold all of our belongings, bought an RV and traveled the US).. we landed in northern Florida and lived 10 minutes from the springs. First day at the springs my son bravely leaped into the crystal clear water without hesitation! That was the day he taught himself to swim, fearlessly navigating the water!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would buy myself and my son our first ever home!!! After traveling for the last 5 years we are incredibly ready to grow roots and build community and grow with friends for the next few decades of existence! $20,000 would be the most BEAUTIFUL beginning to this dream fulfillment!
