I am a super mom because I know I’m not perfect, but I work hard in multiple ways to take care of my son every single day!

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mother to my beautiful son, Trenton, is seeing the smile on his face when we do the small things i.e. when we do projects on insects together, or when I tell him that I’m going to be on his field trip with him. Those are some of the most enjoyable times that I’ve experienced in his five years of living. I look forward to making more memories and seeing more smiles from my baby throughout the years.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I’ll never forget when my son asked about his middle name and I told him that his middle name derives from his grandfather, who is my dad, that’s how he got his middle name. My son replied, “I know I met him. I spoke to him before”. My dad passed away six months before my son was born, so this has always been a shocking moment for me and a memory that I’ll never forget, because he was so serious and he still mentions that to this day.

What would you do with $20,000?

First, I would contribute some of the funds to my son’s ESA. Next, I would take him on a trip that involves the beach. My son loves the beach and he always talks about going to an island or going on a boat; he is a water baby! The next thing I would do is pay off debts and make sure that we have everything we need in our home doing this during this economical downturn. I was recently laid off, so this has been a trying time.
