The most rewarding part of being a mom is an indescribable blend of love, joy, and purpose that fills every fiber of my being. It’s witnessing the miracle of life unfold before my eyes, seeing my children grow, learn, and flourish, and knowing that I have the honor and privilege to guide them through life’s twists and turns. Another part is the unconditional love! I can be looking a tired hot mess and my 3 year old will tell me how beautiful I am. There’s no hood like motherhood!

One memory etched in my heart forever is the day I brought my daughter home, after fearing every day could be my last with my high risk pregnancy due to placenta accreta. The moment I held her in my arms at home, reunited with her brother, surrounded by the warmth of family, was what I had prayed for since we began building our family. It’s a memory that fuels my soul and reminds me of the incredible strength and resilience within us all.

With $20,000, I would invest the majority of it towards nurturing my children's dreams and aspirations, giving them the head start I never had. Additionally, I would pursue my own passions in music and entrepreneurship, showing my kids that your dreams will never give up on you, if you never give up on them. Lastly, I would donate a portion to the National Accreta Foundation, to help support families who are struggling.
