Watching my kids become who they are, not who the world tells them to be. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing they feel safe, supported, and deeply loved enough to be themselves… that’s everything. The most rewarding part isn’t what I do for them, it’s who they are becoming because they’ve been given the space to grow into it.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

That strength isn’t doing it all; it’s knowing when to pause, pivot, and choose differently. Motherhood taught me that burnout doesn’t make you a better mom, it just makes you an exhausted one. Real strength is trusting yourself enough to shift, even when it’s uncomfortable, and moving forward anyway. Because staying stuck doesn’t just affect you, it shapes what your kids learn to accept.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to expand the work I’m already doing to support moms who are silently running on empty. As a mom, former officer, and PhD in human behavior, I’ve seen and lived how many women hold everything together while feeling depleted inside. It would create more breathing room for my family and allow me to reach more women with support that actually fits their lives. Because when a mom feels whole, everything around her changes.
