Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the absolute, powerful love that you feel the moment you see your child come into this world. I am always so struck with a love I never felt before. I don't believe it can be compared it to any other experience. We learn to love our significant others and our friends but meeting your baby is like nothing else in this world. What a gift that is!

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

The biggest lesson motherhood has taught me is that I cannot do this alone. I am so blessed with an incredible husband and father. I have incredible friends and family that I can always count on. But even more than that, I have learned that the Lord is with me and I need His help daily! My daughter has serious health issues and to know that I can ask for help and see that help being given gets me through the countless tough days that we have had.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are blessed to live on a small farm that I have always dreamed of owning. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs and many house animals. I share this blessing cost free with anyone who would love to enjoy it. Animals are very therapeutic and can connect with people in need. I have dreams to expand my volunteer mission with adding more animals, but of course there is a cost involved in that. Shelter, fences and food are necessary. Any money would be used to achieve my dream to help people.
