The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my children feel safe, loved, and supported despite everything we’ve been through. Knowing that even in moments of loss and struggle, I created a home filled with love, stability, and hope. Watching them grow stronger, kinder, and more confident reminds me that every sacrifice is worth it.

What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?

Motherhood taught me that strength isn’t loud it’s showing up every single day, even when you’re breaking inside. It taught me that love is an action, not just a feeling, and that resilience is built in the moments you want to give up but don’t. I’ve learned that being present, consistent, and full of love is what truly shapes a life.

What would you do with $20,000?

I was a mom of 4, and when my sister passed, I became a mother of 8 and I wouldn’t change it for anything. This $20,000 would bring stability, a safe home, and support my children’s growth and healing. It would also help me legally adopt my four nieces, giving them permanence and love. I will honor my sister by turning her journals into a book so her voice, truth, and story live on.
