Seeing the new “person” for each season. I miss the tiny newborn snuggles, but she was replaced with a chunky toddler learning how to walk. Then the chunky toddler was replaced with a kindergartener who is wildly inquisitive. Soon she will be reading and her brother watching her every move. Watching our children just live everyday with pure joy and wonder fills my heart.
What is the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?Motherhood has taught me I need to slow down and be present with as many moments as possible. I thought I was a patient person, but I’m learning a whole new level of it. Resilience. Doing the hard things and even the small when you feel you cannot show me I have strength beyond what I thought I was capable of. Knowing the Jesus loves me and my children more than I ever could with all my flaws and failures… He has given me precious gifts I get to nurture and love.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pray over what God would have us to do. Give to a new church plant within our church family, savings for the kids future plan fund. Maybe a small family vacation when my husbands work schedule allows!
